While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verb "abduct" than the verb "detain," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.

Two martyrs in Israeli drone attack in Lebanon

Friday 26-April-2024

BEIRUT, (PIC)

An Israeli drone fired a missile on a car in Western Biqaa District, in Lebanon, on Friday, killing two persons on board.

The Islamic group in Lebanon (Al-Jama'a Al-Islamiya) announced on Friday evening that two of its members were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on the Western Beqaa.

It said in a press release that two of its armed wing’s commanders Mus'ab Sa’eed and Bilal Mu'hammed were martyred by the raid.

It added that they were martyred while carrying out their duties in defense of the Lebanese people in South Lebanon and in support of the Palestinian people.

This Israeli attack comes in the wake of escalating military confrontations between the Israeli occupation army and the Lebanese Hizbullah fighters. Israeli air raids on two villages in south Lebanon on Friday injured one person while Israeli artillery shelling hit a number of areas in other southern Lebanese areas. Hizbullah missiles killed a driver of an Israeli military truck on Thursday night.

UN Report: More than 20 Palestinians buried alive in Nasir hospital

Saturday 27-April-2024

NEW YORK, (PIC)

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced on Friday that only 165 bodies out of 392 bodies recovered from the Nasser Hospital complex in Khan Younus city in southern Gaza Strip have been identified. The Palestinian Civil Defense reported that they have been unable to identify the remaining 227 bodies due to changes in physical features, mutilation, or significant decomposition exacerbated by some bodies being placed in plastic bags three meters deep.

In its report, the UN office called on the Palestinian Civil Defense to conduct an independent investigation, including forensic examination of approximately 20 bodies believed to have been buried alive. It noted that three mass graves were discovered in the Nasir Hospital complex, one in front of the morgue, another behind it, and a third near the kidney dialysis building.

Since October 7th of last year, the Israeli occupation forces, with American and European support, have continued their aggression against the Gaza Strip. Their aircraft have been bombing the vicinity of hospitals, buildings, towers, and the homes of Palestinian civilians, destroying them over the heads of their inhabitants. They are also preventing the entry of water, food, medicine, and fuel to the besieged enclave.

By April 26, 2024, the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza has resulted in the deaths of 34,356 citizens and the injury of 77,368 others, in addition to the displacement of approximately 1.7 million residents of the Gaza Strip, according to United Nations statistics.

'Hamas receives Israel’s response to its ceasefire proposal

Saturday 27-April-2024

DOHA, (PIC)

The Deputy Chairman of Hamas in the Gaza Strip and head of the Movement’s Arab and Islamic Relations Office, Khaleel Al-'Hayya, announced that the Movement had received on Saturday the Israeli official response to its ceasefire proposal which was delivered to the Egyptian and Qatari mediators on April 13.

“Hamas will study the response. Once this is done, it will reply,” Al-'Hayya said in a brief statement at dawn on Saturday.

Hamas reiterated its adherence to its demands and the national demands of the people: a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupation army from the entire Gaza Strip, the return of the displaced Gazans to their areas and places of residence, intensifying the entry of relief and aid, and the start of reconstruction.

The Movement also reiterated its readiness to conclude a serious prisoner exchange deal between the two parties.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, resulting in tens of thousands of martyrs, wounded and missing, in addition to the displacement of two million people and a massive destruction of homes and infrastructure that affected more than 70% of the buildings, amid suffocating siege, a stifling humanitarian crisis, and an unprecedented famine, especially in Gaza City and its northern areas.

Sharp summer heat in Gaza increases fatalities, displaced people’s ordeal

Saturday 27-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

At least two children have died due to the heat wave during the past days in the Gaza Strip, the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, revealed on Friday.

Lazzarini said, “Over the past few days, Gaza has been undergoing an unusual heat wave. This made the already inhumane living conditions even worse for 1.5 million people, mostly living under greenhouses-like structures under scorching heat in Rafa'h.

For its part, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said in a press release on Friday that the suffering of the displaced Palestinians in the Gaza Strip whose lives are already in jeopardy as a result of Israel’s genocidal war against them, which is ongoing for the seventh consecutive month, is witnessing a serious deterioration in light of the summertime’s sharp rise in temperature, coupled with high humidity, dry weather, and the proliferation of insects and rodents.

The Euro-Med explained that an increase in fatalities and the spread of diseases have recently killed or at least affected the refugees, the Euro-Med highlighted, adding that the Israeli-made humanitarian catastrophe in the Strip puts Palestinian civilians in real danger, especially those who are more vulnerable. The extreme heat and miserable living conditions, such as overcrowded shelter centers or nylon tents devoid of basic supplies, compound the effects of fear, hunger, and dehydration.

The heat adds to the daily suffering of Palestinian refugees in the Strip in light of severe water scarcity and significant environmental hazards given the collapse of sewage systems, lack of service infrastructure, and waste buildup that has accelerated the spread of infectious diseases and issues resulting in skin allergies, it underlined.

The Euro-Med added that the displaced Palestinians are left to face their fate alone as they are exposed to excessive heat and scorching heat waves. Israel’s genocide has forced more than 1.7 million Palestinians to flee their homes in the northern regions of the Strip in search of a safe refuge in the south, amid additional waves of displacement in the southern governorates.

It said that the humanitarian and health crisis in the Gaza Strip has claimed many lives as a result of horrific conditions in camps and shelters, the intensity of heat waves, and the spread of illnesses among residents, particularly children and members of other vulnerable categories.

“One of these lives belonged to Malak Sa'eed Al-Yazji, a 5-month-old infant. She died on 25 April 2024 after her family was forcibly evacuated to the southern city of Rafa'h, where the family had to live in a nylon tent. The extreme heat wave that struck the refugee camp, which was devoid of basic supplies like water, and the resulting physical stress and trauma destroyed the baby’s health,” the Euro-Med said.

The Euro Med also documented the death of the young woman Lara Grace Al-Sayigh, 19, who died on 25 April because of the extreme heat. Al-Sayigh was attempting to escape from Gaza City to Rafa'h, while at the time of her death, her mother was in a coma due to the same reason, it elaborated.

'Hoor Iyad Al-'Absi also died on 11 April from hepatitis contracted from pollution and crowding after she and her family were forced to evacuate to Rafa'h. She was admitted to the European Hospital where she remained for five days before she passed away from complications brought on by her illness and lack of access to adequate medical care, the human rights group said.

Another case was that of a 27-year-old man, Anas 'Abdullah Karaz, who also passed away due to hepatitis and died on 24 April, it added.

Dr A'hmed Al-Naqris, an internal medicine specialist at Rafa'h’s Abu Youssef Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafa'h, affirmed that the hepatitis A virus is spreading at an unprecedented rate as a result of the dire circumstances in the Strip and extreme overcrowding there, particularly in Rafa'h.

Euro-Med Monitor added that, as a result of the ongoing, devastating Israeli military attacks alone, health and environmental disasters are rapidly worsening. This has disastrous effects on both the general environment and public health.

It called on the international community to pressure Israel for a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the lifting of the strict siege on the enclave, which is a collective punishment and a war crime in itself. “Above all, Israel’s crime of genocide in the Strip must be stopped as rapidly as possible, in order to save what can be saved there,” it said, adding that the international community must guarantee the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.

By April 26, 2024, the Israeli occupation army has continued its aggression against the Gaza Strip, with the US and European support, leading to the martyrdom of 34,356 citizens and the injury of 77,368 others, in addition to the displacement of about 1.7 million people, according to United Nations statistical reports.

'Hamas warns of any international substitute to supervise UNRWA

Saturday 27-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

'Hamas Movement has warned of any international body supervising the work of UNRWA as a substitute for the United Nations. It called on all international parties that have refrained from supporting UNRWA to assume their responsibilities towards “the genocide our Palestinian people are subjected to.”

'Hamas said in a statement, “We have followed with concern the report issued by the committee appointed by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, chaired by former French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, to review the neutrality of UNRWA. In this report, the occupation’s allegations, which attempted to distort the work of the international agency, were refuted.”

'Hamas highlighted a number of concerns and risks, included in the 54-page report, which aim to undermine the work of UNRWA and establish alternative international bodies outside the United Nations to monitor and supervise it. “This is an attempt to target its political significance within the framework of malicious schemes aimed at ending its role as a political witness to the Palestinian catastrophe,” it added.

It pointed out that the report called for the establishment of an international body to oversee the work of UNRWA from outside, which in itself constitutes a clear political targeting. It paves the way for usurping the responsibility of the United Nations General Assembly and replaces the Advisory Committee of UNRWA, composed of 28 countries and 3 observer members.

Hamas has raised concerns over a recent report calling for the removal of responsibility from UNRWA staff unions in the five operational areas, alleging their bias. The Movement warned that this serious accusation could undermine the relationship between employees and management, deepen existing divisions, and interfere with the work of the international agency, which should uphold neutrality.

'Hamas also criticized the report’s suggestion to form partnerships between UNRWA and other institutions as an attempt to diminish and obscure its work. Particularly troubling is the shift away from humanitarian services in the Gaza Strip without strengthening UNRWA’s role, resulting in a weakening of its provided services.

Furthermore, Hamas questioned the report’s failure to address the targeting of UNRWA facilities by the Israeli occupation forces, with 160 of its premises being attacked and 180 employees losing their lives. It also highlighted the absence of any mention of the field executions and the horrifying targeting of displaced individuals within UNRWA schools, as exemplified by Al-Fakhoura massacre in Jabalya and other similar incidents throughout the Israeli aggression.

'Hamas expressed astonishment at the former French minister’s criticism of the educational curriculum taught by UNRWA, calling for a review of what she perceives as non-neutral topics. However, Hamas emphasized that numerous committees have already revised 157 textbooks used in UNRWA schools, modifying certain content.

Moreover, 'Hamas questioned the dual standards employed by the international community, allowing Ukrainian UN employees to express their opinions on the war in their country while deeming Palestinian employees biased for exercising their rights.

'Hamas recalled that UNRWA was established in response to the historical aggression aimed at annihilating and displacing Palestinians from their land. It sees these double standards as another facet of the hypocrisy demonstrated by certain international parties in the ongoing genocide against Gaza, with some unfortunately supporting and participating in this war, particularly the position embodied by Washington and some of its allies.

'Hamas renewed its call for all international parties that have refrained from supporting UNRWA to fulfill their responsibilities towards the Palestinian people, who are enduring a genocide. The Movement emphasized that any attempt to erase or diminish the significance of Jerusalem, the Nakba, or the land will only fuel further fires endangering global security and peace and preventing the achievement of peace.

Gaza: Death toll surges to 34,388 martyrs

Saturday 27-April-2024

GAZA, (PIC)

The health ministry in Gaza said on Saturday that the Israeli occupation army committed four massacres in different areas of the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours, killing at least 32 civilians and injuring over 69 others, while a large number of victims are still under the rubble of bombed buildings or lying on roads.

In a statement, the health ministry said that the Israeli army killed and injured a large number of civilians in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, but only 101 of them, including 32 martyrs (and 69 injuries), were transported to hospitals.

The health ministry added that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli bombardments and shooting attacks, which started on October 7, climbed to 34,388 martyrs and the number of the wounded surged to 77,437 people.

The Gaza Strip has been under brutal bombardment since a cross-border operation was launched by Hamas’s armed wing, al-Qassam Brigades, on October 7.

Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.

Israeli occupation forces detain 20 Palestinians in West Bank raids

RAMALLAH, Saturday, April 27, 2024 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces Friday evening and dawn Saturday detained at least 20 Palestinians in multiple raids across the occupied West Bank, according to local and security sources.

They said that the occupation forces rounded up at least 20 Palestinians, including a woman, several minors and former prisoners, in multiple raids, mainly in the districts of Ramallah, Al-Khaleel (Hebron), Nablus, Toulkarm, Jineen and Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

As part of the detention raids and in the district of Toulkarm, the occupation forces barged their way into the city of Toulkarm, where the soldiers rounded up a young man after beating him up and ransacking his family house.

Meanwhile, the gun-toting soldiers manning a checkpoint near the city of Jericho stopped and detained a young man from the town of Rummana village, west of the city of Jenin, on Friday evening.

The occupation forces have detained approximately 8,480 Palestinians from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, since October 7.

The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.

These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.

Under Israeli military law army commanders have full executive, legislative and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.

According to the latest figures from Al-Dhameer, the Palestinian Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, there are currently 9,500 Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli prisons and detention centers, including 200 child prisoners and 80 female prisoners.

This number includes approximately 3,660 Palestinians placed under “administrative detention”, which allows the detention of Palestinians without charge or trial for renewable intervals ranging between three and six months based on undisclosed evidence that even a detainee’s lawyer is barred from viewing.

The mass arrest of Palestinians is nothing new. According to a 2017 report by  Al-Dhameer, over the past 50 years, more than 800,000 Palestinians have been imprisoned or detained by Israel, this figure is now believed to be closer to 1 million. This means that about 40% of Palestinian men and boys living under military occupation have been deprived of their freedom. Almost every Palestinian family has suffered the imprisonment of a loved one.

Illegal Israeli settlers steal wheat crop from farmers in Bethlehem-district village

HEBRON, Saturday, April 27, 2024 (WAFA) –

Illegal Israeli settlers today stole wheat crop from Palestinian farmers in the wilderness of Al-Maniya, southeast of the West Bank city of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), according to a municipal source.

Ziyad Kawazba, Head of Al-Maniya Village Council, said that armed colonists attacked Palestinian farmers once the latter finished harvesting their wheat crop at Wadi al-Abyad in the wilderness of the village, and stole the crops at gunpoint.

He added that the amount of the stolen crop, which belongs to Sakit Shalalda and his brothers, was estimated at 2 tons.

Meanwhile, colonists destroyed the tents that served as dwellings in Khirbet Al-Sukout in the northern Jordan Valley.

Illegal Israeli settlers toady violently attacked a Palestinian man, causing him bruises, in Masafir Yatta, south of the occupied West bank city of Al-Khaleel (Hebron).

Sources said that scores of the Illegal Israeli settlers wearing Israeli occupation army uniforms physically assaulted and beat up the 20-year-old Omar Mousa Mu'hammed while he was herding sheep in the Wadi Ma'in area in Masafir Yatta, causing him bruises.
